Project

The Schools@Concerts project encourages participants to attend regular classical music concerts. Institutions involved in the project in Poland were: The Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic in Gdansk, Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk, and a primary school in Gdansk. The cooperation between the institutions mentioned above was carried out by the representatives, the teacher and the supervisor. 5th grade students aged 10–11 were asked to share their experiences about the live performance of a symphonic concert. The concert entitled: Enigmatic Kingdom was held at The Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic in Gdansk with the seat in Gdansk Music & Congress Centre on the 7th of December 2018 at 7 p. m. The program consisted of the following pieces: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Five Contredanses for Orchestra K. 609; Max Bruch – Scottish Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra; Edward Elgar – Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 36 (Enigma Variations).
